I’ve spent much of the weekend composing a manuscript that I want to send to the National Communication Association’s national convention. The deadline is Wednesday, but it will not be “ready for primetime” by then. So I have to make a decision today: do I attempt to compose a “complete-yet-poor” manuscript in 72 hours that has little chance of being accepted, or do I continue to work on the manuscript, submit it to a regional conference this year, and submit the stronger version next year?
I think I just answered my question. Time for coffee.
