I did a nice job watching my calories today. Then the neighbors came by with Christmas cookies.

I won’t feel bad for myself, though, because I have coffee.

JYT to CKT: I’m brewing some coffee. You want some?

CKT: No. Coffee makes me sick.

JYT to AMKT: I’m going to make coffee. Do you want some?

AMKT: Yes. Make me some decaf. And make a whole pot in case we want more later. And don’t put so much coffee in it because you make it too strong.

JYT: Would you like to make it yourself?

AMKT: No!

Tidings of comfort and joy.

Santa came. He delivered gifts for the boys, then brewed a pot of decaf.

I made it all the way to the Y to exercise when I realized I left my running shoes at home. I didn’t have time to go back home and get my shoes before the Y closed, but I did have time to get a latte.
